Welcome to the Yakezie Chichi (Father) weekly review.

It’s been a great week. My kids finished an outstanding academic school year, and began summer vacation with a massive neighborhood super-soaker fight.

It’s always great to get a little recognition. I was very happy that an article I wrote for Sustainable Personal Finance was the Editor’s Pick at Totally Money Blog Carnival #23. Thank you to the team at Spruce Up Your Finances for this honor.

The blog is growing rapidly, thanks to you. Daily site traffic sets a new record every other day, and the Alexa ranking is steadily improving. As of today, Financially Consumed is the 156,204th most active site on the internet. You will also notice some advertisements as you browse the site. Hopefully these will help to pay for our operating costs.

Please enjoy some of the very best articles from the Yakezie Network, selflessly helping others.

Congrats on your Editor’s Pick and your fast dropping Alexa ranking. You’ve been working very hard and it’s paying off. Keep it up. Thanks for including me in your round up and Happy Father’s Day!

  2. Have a wonderful day with your family and kudos to you for the Editor’s pick.

  3. Hunter, thanks for the include and happy father’s day!

Also, thought you might want to know….it looks like your article links are a little messed up on your “Lifestyle-Archive” tab. From what I can tell, the word “edit” is in the url, so I’m guessing maybe only you can see them in “admin-mode” and the rest of the world gets taken to your WP login page. Hope that helps.
