There’s now a Personal Finance Blogger Map! This interactive resource created by Phil Taylor of PT Money allows the reader to identify where bloggers are located, anywhere in the world.

Not only is this a useful tool for helping bloggers network and meetup, it also guides readers as to which blogs might offer a better local perspective.

  1. Thanks for sharing. I’m not on it but for now, that is ok.

  2. krantcents says:

Interesting idea! I can’t find me (Los Angeles) either.

  3. Philip says:

ThaNks for featuring this so prominently. I hope to make this a more robust resource soon. Getting lots of requests to add since your post. Thanks, again.

  4. 101 Centavos says:

Good job sharing this resource. I’ve emailed PT Money with a request to add 101 Centavos.

  5. I just found this map this past week. I think it’s very cool! Probably took a lot of time to put everyone in.

  6. Hunter, I mentioned about this map on Yakezie forum last week. It will be good if all PF bloggers are on it. Thanks for making it a post though.

  7. Nice, I’ll send in a request to be added. Looks like most PF bloggers are on the east coast. Not much action in the Pacific NW. :(

  8. charles says:

found this thing through Retirebyforty tweet. I didn’t find me either. I’m in odenton, md. another east coaster :)

  9. I submitted my info last week (for Portland, Oregon), but I’m not on the map yet. Soon… The map really is an awesome idea and I can’t wait to be on it. :-)

    • Hunter says:

It took a little time for my details to be added also, I’m sure they’ll process all the requests early this week. Portland! I can’t wait to visit that city, and I’m going to see it by bike.

  10. Little House says:

I love this! But I love maps in general so this is right up my alley.

    • Hunter says:

Outstanding LH. It’s interesting to see how geographically dispersed we are, and very easy to lose sight of when we’re interacting online.

  11. Proud to be the only upper plains representative on the map. ;) Lonely up here, though…

  12. Very cool. I’m on it which is great. I will definitely use this as a resource.

  13. Andrea says:

This is so cool, I’ve already been added and I’m having a great time clicking through the other blogs tonight.

  14. Kylie Ofiu says:

I had forgotten about this map. I had my old blog added, but forgot to get my new blog put on, so have just emailed PT.

It is a great resource and so easy to get added and find other bloggers.

    • Hunter says:

Hi Kylie, glad you’re on the map. The net makes us all seem like we could be in the next street, never mind the continents and oceans between us.

  15. Suba says:

I saw this map when I first started blogging and applied to get me added. Didn’t work then. Time to bug PT again. Thanks for the reminder.

  16. AverageJoe says:

Everything is better with pictures. I can’t be bothered to read stuff. Maps rock!

  17. Buck Inspire says:

Terrific resource. Need to add myself soon. Thanks for sharing Hunter!

  18. I love this. Until I looked at the map I thought we were the only PF bloggers in NM! There’s another just an hour away.

  19. Thanks for the post. I just submitted my blog.
