My name is Hunter Montgomery, creator, writer, chief cook and bottle washer at Financially Consumed, where my goal is to present uncluttered every-day money topics.

I’m a male military spouse, devoted husband to a Navy meteorologist, proud father of 3 sometimes-sassy children, and a mad-keen cyclist. I’m also a super saver, and have been consumed with personal finances forever. I have witnessed the struggles we all sometimes have with personal finances, from many years of working in credit and lending.

Having recently earned my Master’s degree in Family Financial Planning, but tied to my family commitments, this blog is a way for me to give back and share my perspective.
